Character

PETG is generally tougher and more heat-tolerant than PLA, and handles many chemicals better. In return it is more prone to stringing and asks for more care with print settings.

Use

  • Functional prototypes
  • Jigs and fixtures
  • Enclosures
  • Repeat part production

Limits

Knowing what a material can't do is half of choosing it well.

  • Tends to string; retraction and temperature settings matter.
  • Can bond too strongly to some build surfaces; a release layer may be needed.
  • Absorbs moisture; drying directly affects print quality.

One step from spool to information

The QR code is being designed to link each spool to its lot data, profile version and support page.

What lot data tells you

Be first to know.

We'll write when test data, documents and the sample programme open.
