Character
PLA is one of the easiest polymers to print: low warping, clean detail and broad printer compatibility. Its resistance to heat and impact is limited, so it is not always the first choice for functional parts.

Limits
Knowing what a material can't do is half of choosing it well.
- Can deform in hot environments, such as inside a car in the sun.
- May not suit parts under impact or sustained load.
- Absorbs moisture; a spool left open can affect print quality.

One step from spool to information
The QR code is being designed to link each spool to its lot data, profile version and support page.
